The piranha bar does have sharp edges, but it's not for kids to play around or they'll learn a hard lesson. Aug 16, 2016 · Last fall, I was scooping out about 200' of ditch so I could lay tile in it. The tooth bar was great for breaking up the material, but once I got it loose, just the bucket did a much better job of cleaning out all the material for a smooth ditch. Sometime the bar is just too aggressive on a small HP tractor like a BX. As for a tooth bar - look at the Piranha tooth bar (search it here - several threads & discussions) We have lots of rocky red clay here and the Piranha definitely helps with digging.
