Find a multi-meter. Check to make sure that your battery has 12V~ at the terminals. The solenoid is located between the airbox and battery underneath the seat. It has two large wires (one coming directly from the battery) and two small wires connected to it. The large wire connected directly to the battery should have 12V~ all the time.
