I used the wife's Emory set for the file work. It flexes and doesn't scratch other areas. I had to file quite a bit on the rear rail to get it to clear the trigger bar. It shoots really well. The name "80%" comes from the lower half, which is an 80% receiver, and is combined with an upper receiver to become a functioning firearm.And none of which are that expensive, especially for a p80. AR’s and MUP’s are a lil different and can be pricey. My suggested tools are: Hand drill. You can use a drill press and dremel work station but I chose to do hand drill instead and then clean holes.
