Ok I have a 3970010 block and on the back of it where the flexplate goes its got 010 stamped on it with 020 right under it. This is the cylinder block in the 57 wagon in my profile photo. I took the pictures during final assembly of the engine. It is important to note that this block is NOT a 4 bolt block. It is a 2 bolt original 327 block, although I understand that 3970010 was also used for 302's and 350's which also have a 4" bore. Driver.Am trying to get info on my small block chevy.
