38 weeks and 2cm dilated

I had a membrane sweep at 37w 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was 2cm dilated and knew I was being induced before 38 weeks bc I had high risk complications. It didn't work and was induced at 37+4. Of all the annoying things she brings up this one is fairly normal practice.

I think the reason my OB waits until his patients are at least 1 cm is because it has a greater chance of working if cervix is already softening and dilating for labor.
