Apr 1, 2011 · This is pure opinion here but we use 150's for short range medium game laser flat loads (-5" @ 405yds sighted @ 290yds) and 200gr+ for longer range/heavier game. I limit 180 308's to my one-size-fits-all 30/06 load. The 300 WinMag really shines at 200gr and above. My $0.02. KB.
